Race Format

Distance: 500 meters, also an optional 2,000 meter race*.

Course: 4 lanes, underwater-gridded and marked by buoys, with start docks.

Start/ finish line: the start line is located 300 meters up river from the amphitheater stage. Each lane has its own start dock which the boats will back into to be held until the start gun. A high speed camera will monitor the finish line, SO PADDLE UNTIL YOUR STEERSMAN SAYS STOP. 

Race Format: *Please clearly indicate if your team will be participating in the 2,000m race when submitting registration for this event. Every team will get 3 races. Optional practices will be available on Friday, June 7th. Medals will be awarded to the winners of all divisions. The races will be followed by a concert and fireworks show.
