Practice Calendar

Welcome Team Captains! Please note that only Team Captains have access to the practice calendar.

CLICK HERE to view the practice calendar. It is a good idea to open the practice calendar in another window or tab so you can see these instruction while looking at the map. REMEMBER, you must reserve at least one practice to participate in the festival but you may reserve a second session too. 

1) Advance the calendar to August. Scroll down to view all the practice times. If a practice has been reserved, a team name will appear in that time slot.

2) Pick an "Available" practice session by clicking on it. A new window will open with the event in it.

3) Click the "Edit" tab.

4) Click the "User" drop down menu and select your name.

5) Click "Save" at the bottom of the page.

6) Return to the calendar and select your second practice time. You may want to "refresh" the web page to see that your team's name fills the session you have reserved. Repeat steps 1 - 5.

NOTE: you will not be able to change your practice reservation online after clicking "Save". If you make a mistake or would like to change your session, please email the festival director. We will do our best to accommodate your request given the remaining available slots.

Remember that only 21 crew members can participate in a practice. If you have more than 21 members attend a practice session, some will have to wait on the shore while you complete half of your session. You can then paddle to shore and switch out several members. It is best to ask which of your crew members can ONLY attend one or the other of your practice sessions and ensure that they have space on the boat, then fill in with those who can attend either session.
